Kotečnik

Kotečnik is a 722 m high hill in the Posavje Hills. The eastern part of the crest is overgrown with greenery, and the western part offers a nice view of the peaks in the Posavje Hills, especially Šmohor and Gozdnik. Kotečnik is very famous among climbers, also in the European area, as it is the largest Slovenian climbing area with more than 300 climbing walls of all difficulty levels, from 4b to 8c. The climbing area is suitable for beginners as well as the most experienced climbers regardless of the season. Alpinists also like to visit this place. The peak has two inscription chests.
