Church of St. Paul

The church records date back to the 14th century.
During the time of Ottoman raids, it was protected by a wall that was later demolished. The current church building is probably already the third one on this location, and was built in neo-romantic style in the year 1898. An early Christian gravestone lamenting the death of a Celje bishop from the 6th century is built into the northern outer wall. Until 1822, the church was surrounded by a cemetery.
