Route from Letuš along the river Savinja to Dobrovlje

The route begins in Letuš, a small settlement on the boundary of the Lower Savinja Valley characterized by a mighty stone bridge spanning across the river Savinja.
Starting their walk at the Sulcer house, hikers climb a small slope with the local school and the church of St. John the Baptist from 1482. The route ascends along marked trails leading to the hunting lodge (828m) where the logbook and seal are found in a chest. The hunting lodge enjoys a marvellous view over the entire Savinja Valley. From there, the trails heads to Brezovec (875m) and onward to the partisan memorial home in Dobrovlje. There, the seal is found in a small chest by the home entrance. Hikers can opt to continue their journey past the Destovška chapel to the mountain lodge on Čreta and visit the church of St. John and Paul, the patron saints of thunderstorms, along the way. The site offers a beautiful vista of the Lower Savinja Valley.
